Calspan’s extensive machine shop has been providing high-quality precision machining and fabrication services since 1946.  Calspan’s machine shop offers competitive pricing, short lead times and rapid turnaround.  Having machined ultra-high precision aerospace components as well as routine production items, Calspan’s machine shop brings a wealth of practical experience to bear on your machining needs.  In addition to standard machining services, Calspan can handle turnings of all sizes along with routine and advanced millwork.  We also offer a precision inspection area with traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and are certified to ISO9001:2008.

Calspan’s complete machining service also includes the assembly of manufactured parts.   Our highly flexible machinists can work from engineering drawings or cooperatively develop a prototype from a simple concept. 

Calspan can accommodate large machining operations and offers a full-service logistics service in addition to secure storage for sensitive or confidential material.  Through our network of industry contacts, we offer additional services such as sand-blasting and painting.  On-site certified welding is also available.
