

A former Navy and Air National Guard pilot, Lou has worked at Calspan as a test pilot, aeronautical engineer, program manager, and Aeronautics Vice President since 1981. He now serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer. He was instrumental in acquiring the Western New York aeronautical and transportation testing businesses from General Dynamics in 2005 to re-form Calspan. Lou is a distinquished graduate of the US Naval Academy with a Bachelors Degree in Physics and of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.

As one of the Calspan owners, Mr. Yurtchuk was primarily responsible for financing the acquisition of Calspan in 2005 and remains actively involved in strategic business decisions and in corporate finance. John founded Matrix Development Corporation in 1990 and has successfully developed, financed and constructed several million square feet of space worth over $200M in western New York, the New York metropolitan area, and in Florida. Mr. Yurtchuk holds a B.A. (1977), M.A. (1980) and Ph.D. (ABD) all in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to entering real estate development, he was a loan officer on Wall Street, a corporate economist and a university instructor at SUNY Buffalo, Medaille College and SUNY Fredonia.

Peter is responsible for managing the shared corporate services provided to Calspan's multiple business units. In addition to his business operations role, Peter serves as Calspan's Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Calspan, Peter has held various financial and operational executive management roles at other organizations including Curbell, Dinaire Furniture, CNB International, & Arthur Andersen. Peter earned both his MBA and a Bachelor's Degree from the University at Buffalo and is a certified public accountant.

Joe brings a strong background in automotive engineering, management and business development to Calspan. Joe joined Calspan as the Director of Transportation Research in 2008 after a decade with Delphi Automotive. Joe also spent five years in Washington, D.C. applying automotive technology to non-automotive global markets. A native of Western New York, Joe is a "Double Domer," having earned both his B.S.M.E and M.B.A from the University of Notre Dame.

Brian Ernisse is a former Air Force Test Pilot with extensive flight time in the F-22, F-16, and F-15. Prior to his retirement from the USAF Brian served as the commander of a prototype fighter flight test squadron and was the Chief for the Information Grid Division of the Air Force Research Laboratory and was the installation commander for the AFRL Rome Research Site. Brian holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Brian is responsible for aerospace operations and testing at Calspan.

Ruthanne recently joined the Calspan executive team as the Chief Human Resource Officer. She has over 25 years of Human Resources experience with positions at Delaware North Companies, FedEx Trade Networks, and Goldome Realty Credit Corp. Ruthanne earned her certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, and has a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management.

Tom was instrumental in Calspan acquiring the Western New York aeronautical and transportation testing business from General Dynamics. For the last 20 years Tom has worked at Calspan as a Manager, Director and Vice President, overseeing the business operations of the company. Tom is a graduate of Niagara University and currently sits on the board of ECLIPSE, LLC which is a University at Buffalo not-for-profit organization involved in "extreme event" testing and research.
